A first-of-its kind 12-hour Block Party is coming to The Galleria Al Maryah Island. On November 15th, the Abu Dhabi community is invited to the island to join the mega-celebration, filled with all-day family fun, multicultural entertainment plus some never-been-done before surprises.
Headlining the Block Party is a stellar line-up of A-List artists, each performing a dedicated concert to the delight of their fans. In a UAE-first, some of these performances will take place from an elevated height from The Galleria’s upper terraces, providing a truly unique, one-of-a-kind experience for Abu Dhabi residents and visitors. While Abu and Nadine Lustre will dazzle guests from up high, Yo Yo Honey Singh and DJ Jazzy Jeff will keep the party in full swing on street level. In addition, large LED screens streaming the concerts will be placed at key areas on the island, ensuring everyone gets in on the action as it happens.
To commence the festivities, the Abu Dhabi Police Band will parade through Al Falah Street playing the UAE National anthem, setting in motion an all-day agenda of family fun and cultural entertainment from bhangra dancers to Dubai Drummers, Dabke dancers to B-Boy street dancers. Popular local DJs will keep the vibe upbeat throughout the day including DJ Bliss, while roaming street acts such as jugglers, stilt walkers, statue artists, face painters and clowns will create elements of surprise and delight across the island for adults and children.

Al Falah Street, which will be pedestrian only, will be the hub of activity linking all areas of the Block Party. Abu Dhabi Global Market Square (ADGM) will host dedicated Family Zones, suitable for young children and parents with strollers. The Galleria will also be brought to life with roaming entertainment throughout the day, keeping shoppers and diners immersed in the festivities.
