It’s ready, set, go, for the capital to get active and have fun, as ‘Shop Fit’ arrives at The Galleria as part of the Department of Community Development’s ‘Get Fit Abu Dhabi’ campaign. With complimentary yoga sessions, a Fit Zone, Zumba flash mobs and AED 600,000 in cash to be won, the community is invited to ‘shop fit’ and stay fit.
Fitness starts with a healthy mind with ‘Yoga #AtTheGalleria. Complimentary morning yoga and are available three times a week on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays from 8:30am to 9:30am, facilitated by Bodytree Studio. All participants need to bring is a mat and suitable clothing. Sessions will run throughout the winter taking full advantage of the perfect weather from the The Galleria’s rooftop Sky Park, South Atrium on Level 4. On Friday November 22nd, guests can enjoy Zumba flash mob performances in Central Kitchens on Level 3, providing a fun entertainment show with a healthy message.
The Galleria’s other two rooftop parks, Family Park & Sports Park – both on Level 2, offer an escape for families. With a basketball half-court, activities for kids, trampolines and grassy areas with outdoor seating, the parks provide the perfect setting for keeping active.
The purpose-built Fit Zone gym, located on the second floor, next to Decathlon, will be the hub of the action, where the entire community can Get Fit with state-of-the-art gym equipment. Open to all levels of fitness, the Fit Zone will be the perfect space to try out something new and have fun along the way, all with the help of qualified health attendants.
Shoppers can win part of a whopping AED 600,000 prize pool during Shop Fit. There will be 40 winners who will each receive AED 5,000 every week, totalling 120 winners in just three weeks. To enter, shoppers can present receipts totalling AED 200 or more to Guest Services to receive one raffle entry.
