Arabica continues its growth in the UAE as it recently opened its new concept store at the Capital’s Marina Mall, this Eid.
The brand’s founder, Kenneth Shoji, teamed up with award-winning architect, Christ Precht. Together they designed the new % Arabica Pods –a flexible and expandable unit that can be deployed anywhere.
The inspiration behind the design is the brands “%” logo. The half-circled doors of the % Pod rotate to their locked position which is a minimal interpretation of the logo, utilizing the slash as a peaking window into the world of coffee.
The store will also feature a retail wall where customers have access to the latest % Arabica merchandise. On display are travel tumblers, backpacks, tote bags and portable brewing gadgets; essentials to “seeing the world through coffee”. Customers can also purchase a wide variety of beans that is sourced directly from coffee farmers around the world.
And while it looks like it is taken out of a sci-fi movie, the new concept store maintains the key elements that makes an % Arabica store: the highest attention to details, a nod to minimalism and nothing but incredible coffee.
The new % Arabica concept store opens in Eid and is located at the ground floor of Abu Dhabi Marina Mall, a few steps from the main entrance.
