Over 3 million guests visited The Galleria Al Maryah Island during October, setting a footfall record for the destination to date. Coming out of a strong summer which peaked in July with 2.8 million visitors, October’s footfall is a testament to the continued growth and success of The Galleria as a safe shopping destination, offering a curated mix of best-in-class lifestyle, fashion, dining, home and entertainment brands.

The Galleria’s record footfall last month is the result of a series of successful events, launches and campaigns throughout the month including the Autumn/Winter ‘Walk into the Home of Style’ campaign and Al Maryah Island’s ‘Monster Village’ Halloween event. With game-changing leisure and entertainment offerings, guests from far and wide flocked to The Galleria during the long weekend from 21 – 23 October, once again making it the community destination of choice in the emirate. Reinforcing its unrivalled status as the leading retail hub in Abu Dhabi, a suite of new brands also joined The Galleria in recent weeks, including Chopard, Lululemon, Versace, Margaret Dabbs and %Arabica.
With the introduction of over 50 brands in 2021, and with more boutiques and restaurants set to open before the end of the year, The Galleria continues to evolve and enhance its visitor experience. Guests have much to look forward to with an exciting line-up of events in the coming weeks, including the UAE’s highly anticipated Golden Jubilee celebrations and the return of The Galleria’s spectacular festive season.
