- Kick off the season with The Galleria’s tree-lighting ceremony | 7th December | From 6:00 PM
Join us at Santa’s Grotto for a magical tree-lighting ceremony. Witness the opulent nine-metre Christmas tree illuminate with thousands of lights, accompanied by joyful tunes from the American Community School choir and a special appearance from Santa.
- Explore the wondrous Tinsel Woods in the North Atrium | 6th to 26th December | Daily from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM
Hidden within the Winter Wonderland lies a magical place owned by Santa himself. This year, Santa has decided to open the gates to his enchanting place and invite children to explore its wonders and become honorary Pine Scouts. As they embark on their journey through the whimsical zones of the Tinsel Woods, children will receive their Pine Scouts activity book, bag and sash before discovering hidden treasures and earning special badges. Guided by Santa’s trusty elves, they can enjoy festive activities such as Candy Cane fishing, bauble painting, gingerbread decorating and so much more!
- Experience a magical winter wonderland on the promenade | 18th to 31st December | Daily from 4:00 PM to 10:00 PM
Step into a festive extravaganza at our Winter Wonderland, where The Galleria’s promenade transforms into a magical winter destination. Delight in a variety of attractions, including charming activity huts, enchanting stage showsand captivating roaming performers. Enjoy a whimsical snow park, glide on the ice-skating rinkand experience the thrill of the snow slide. Children will love the games, activitiesand the delightful kids’ train. Savour delectable food and beverage offerings amidst stunning holiday decorations. Join us for spectacular stage shows every weekend through to Sunday. During the weekdays, cosy up with festive movies on weeknights, offering entertainment for all ages.

Beside Tinsel Woods sits Santa’s Grotto, where kids can meet the man himself, get their picture taken and make their special festive requests. In a nod to tradition, children can also write down their wishes and slip them into Santa’s mailbox as they leave his cabin and collect their badge. - Find Alfie the Elf as you explore The Galleria
Mischievous and magical, Alfie the Elf will spend the festive season as part of The Galleria’s G-Quest, an innovative augmented reality experience. He’s up to no good as he moves around the winter wonderland, visiting his favourite shops before making his trip back to the North Pole. Standing at a mighty 1.2 meters tall, Alfie invites visitors to follow daily clues to discover his latest location. To participate in the ‘Elf on the Shelf’ scavenger hunt, guests can register through www.thegalleria.ae starting 7 Decemberto unlock the clue of the day. Once the correct retailer is guessed and Alfie is found, participants will have the chance to win exciting daily prizes.
- Light the Night—An exquisite New Year’s Eve celebration at Al Maryah Island
