The Galleria Al Maryah Island is excited to celebrate the festive season with the capital’s most anticipated holiday event of the year, Winter Wonderland! Families and friends are in for a treat with Santa meet and greets, festive activities, a spectacular extravaganza at The Winter Village and The Ripe Festive Market from 09 December to 25 December2022.
Festive Fun at The Galleria
• Mark the official beginning of the festive season with The Galleria’s Tree Lighting Ceremony on 09 December at 6:00pm on Level 3 Central Kitchens.
• Visit Santa’s Grotto from 10:00am to 10:00pm daily from 09 December to 24 December on Level 3 Central Kitchens and meet Santa Claus!
• At Santa’s Grotto, guests can send video messages to loved ones from around the world, snap shots with elves and the giant festive tree, and of course meet the big man himself and have their pictures taken by one of Santa’s elves. Letters to Santa
• Write your festive wish list to Santa and tell him why you have been good this year for a chance to win your wishlist and have Santa gift you the presents. Winners will be announced every week and Santa will meet and gift those selected on 22 and 23 December.
• Each letter to Santa’s post box will have one-time-use sealed envelopes for little ones to write and post their list directly to Santa.
• Those who prefer completing the letter at home can download a digital version from www.thegalleria.ae/winterwonderland2022 and post it at The Galleria.
Elf on the Shelf
• Elf on the shelf is a magic elf who is always up to mischief. He does not move while children are awake but goes exploring at night while little ones are asleep.
• Follow The Galleria’s social media clues to see where he might be, take a picture with him at The Galleria and tag @TheGalleriaUAE #AtTheGalleria. Ten lucky winners will receive a AED 500 voucher to spend at the mall!
Winter Village and The Ripe Festive Market
• Located on the South Plaza, guests can enjoy complimentary access to the Winter Village and The Ripe Festive Market from 09 December to 25 December.
• A packed schedule of shows and activities will run from 4:00pm to 10:00pm at the Winter Village with festive movies during weekdays and live stage shows during weekends. The Winter Village will also have a Snow Park, Snow Globe, Snow Ice Rink and Activity Huts for families to enjoy.
• Running daily throughout the festive season, guests can visit The Ripe Festive Market from 3:00pm to 10:00pm including an array of activities, entertainment, live performances and a petting zoo.
• Supporting local businesses, The Ripe Market is a platform for local entrepreneurs to promote their brands, and offer experiences including live cooking stations, arts and crafts, locally made retail products and even a petting zoo.
